Allen Males III, MA, LPC

I have 10+ years of experience working in the mental health field/helping professions. Through this time I have obtained experience in a variety of settings, and have built a successful private practice focused on addressing mental health concerns. I am branching out to provide coaching services for clients who are interested in seeking out other forms of guidance but aren't interested and or appropriate for traditional psychotherapy and or other forms of mental health counseling.  Coaching and providing counseling/psychotherapy share many similarities but my work as a coach addresses issues from a different perspective and approach than my work as a mental health professional.

The majority of my sessions are conducted through a virtual platform but I also offer in-person sessions in outdoor settings.  In person sessions will be provided for clients who are interested in my services and would also like to engage in an outdoor activity while doing so. Conducting sessions outdoors is unique to my practice and is a powerful approach to help clients heal and reconnect with nature. I truly enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and just about any other activity that involves connecting with nature. Through these experiences I have learned a great deal about patience as well as trusting my intuition. Clients who live near or on Lake Travis will be able to conveniently access this service. Details of in-person sessions will be further discussed during our free initial consultation.

I believe that engaging in hobbies, self care, and spending time with family and friends are cornerstones to enjoying life and creating a constant flow of joy. You will see in our work together that I believe creating a healthy balance and enjoying life are essential to creating the life you want, and are integral to my coaching approach.
